About Us

Lightened Pearl Foundation was founded in 2020 to improve the social well-being of women, children, and youth.

Miss Nabaweesi Vanessa mobilized a team of passionate and vibrant youth dedicated to combating teenage pregnancy, promoting education, increasing sexual reproductive health awareness, and creating brighter futures in underserved communities across Uganda.

Why LPF

LPF recruits qualified staff, works with the right consultants, follows procurement and human resource policies, and applies a Do No Harm approach while supporting local service providers where possible.

The foundation also ensures uninterrupted monitoring, regular progress reviews, and clear accountability so interventions remain aligned with the desired outcomes.

Oversight

LPF’s board provides approval, monitoring, and accountability oversight across project implementation. Board members review project activities, participate in monitoring, and approve final reports before submission.

This supervisory role gives every program stronger governance from the beginning to the final reporting stage.
